Very Good: A book that does not look new and has been read but is in excellent condition. No obvious damage to the cover, with the dust jacket (if applicable) included for hard covers. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. May be very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover. Very minimal wear and tear.

This is a softcover catalog entitled, "National Gallery of Art - Preliminary Catalogue of Paintings and Sculpture" (Descriptive List with Notes from Washington D.C.) from 1941 featuring great plates. This 248-page catalog is in overall fair condition showing some cover wear, spine tears, staining to the top-right corners and some wear and tear due to age. Please look at the photos and ask any questions you might have.
