Very Good: A book that does not look new and has been read but is in excellent condition. No obvious damage to the cover, with the dust jacket (if applicable) included for hard covers. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. May be very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover. Very minimal wear and tear.

We just bought a large collection of magazines, books, bound newspaper volumes, booklets, and much more! Please ask about discounts on bulk purchases. We are putting most of these great items into our eBay Store, with a Buy It Now price. We have many more items that are not posted yet!
This is a set of 4 hardcover volumes titled, "The Masters-Painters of Britain" by Gleeson White. These volumes are from 1897 to 1898. This lot includes Volume 1, 2, 3, & 4. These volumes feature great plates inside. These volumes are in overall fair to good condition. Volume 1 has significant amount of damage to it, the bottom must have been in water because there are signs of mold at the bottom of the pages. The back cover is water damaged. We included this volume to keep the set complete. The rest of the volumes are in better condition than Volume 1. There are some stains and foxing. The spines are frayed. Please look at the photos and ask any questions you might have.
