Very Good: A book that does not look new and has been read but is in excellent condition. No obvious damage to the cover, with the dust jacket (if applicable) included for hard covers. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. May be very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover. Very minimal wear and tear.

This is a lot of 12 issues of Essex County Mercury newspapers from 1870 to 1871. These were published in Salem, Massachusetts and each issue has 4 pages. The dates included are: (1870) March 16 & September 7; (1871) January 18, March 15 & 29; April 5, 12 19 & 26; September 20; November 15 & 22. This lot of newspapers are in overall poor to fair condition. There are nicks, creases, tears and some foxing/staining. Please look at the photos and ask any questions you might have.
