Very Good: A book that does not look new and has been read but is in excellent condition. No obvious damage to the cover, with the dust jacket (if applicable) included for hard covers. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. May be very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover. Very minimal wear and tear.

This is a lot of 6 different Columbian Register (New Haven, Connecticut) newspapers from 1816-1817 [Volume IV & V] (1816: October 19; 1817: March 8 (piece missing near the top), May 10, June 17, August 2, September 6). The newspapers are 4 pages each and make many mentions of James Madison and Henry Clay). These newspapers are subject to having wear and tear, loose pages/covers, flaking, stains, nicks, writing and/or foxing and are in generally poor-fair condition due to age. Please look at the photos and ask any questions you might have.
